My wife enjoys the cooler sunny weather here.
But she's not fond of our grey, dark, cold and miserable winter months.

Brilliant sunshine here at 8.30 I pumped off 15 miles on the bike around the perimeter fence of the (Eton) Dorney rowing lake where they are dismantling all the Olympic stands etc then into Windsor where they've put up a full size replica Hawker Hurricane fighter - its designer Sir Sydney Camm grew up in Windsor - he also invented the Camshaft and designed the Hunter and Harrier aircraft

Yes I think it's getting cold now. Don't think it will be long before the heaters go on! I'm doing my best to avoid putting them on as long as I can...mainly because I'm a tight git and I love good food! Notice only the British are talking about the weather.... Guess its an English sport!!!!

Well, we've just had our first BBQ of the winter now that temperatures are cooling into the low 30's. By December we'll be averaging between 18 and 25 degrees, much better then the 40+ in summer.

I've just returned from a holiday in Mauritius and could have saved myself a small fortune as the weather has been far better (and warmer) in the UK!
