okay guys i got a letter from the UKBA saying that they need additional requirements for them to consider my application and it needs to be all ORIGINAL. BUT now my problem is my husband is being very selfish saying he won't give them his passport. i warned him not to give them the copy but he insist. i guess i will go back to the philippines then

we send them the verified lawyers copy of his passport but they want the original they said. we need to send it before feb 13.

Did you not include bank statements in your application months ago? That's too much if you have provided them with those already.
I think it is a good thing we are filing all bank statements in case this slow moving UKBA decide to need more.
I do not think you would need a specific amount as you are under old rules.UKBA,UKBA I am dreading to hear from you...
UKBA, a BRP for Christmas will do...

I think it's still the policy of UKBA that caseworkers are instructed NOT to refuse FLR or ILR solely on financials

Hi ritchieco, may i ask what application you applied for? Im also waiting for the response to our application for FLR. We submitted last Jan 2 as the new law is on our advantage as my husband is self employed.

hi ms anna, i hope ull get your result soon...reading from your post, it worries me too as im also waiting for my FLR, though its just been few week ago Im so bored already and time is wasted if it takes too long knowing i cant be allowed to work without the visa.

Well as my wife now has a 3 month old baby she is no longer bored but probably like u we could do with some extra money coming in thats if u can find any kind of employment after they eventually issue the FLR.
Also sorry we arent near kent, we live near Heathrow airport
