If you believe the country is full then you also believe its full to ALL nationailties trying to join us here....and presumably that includes Filipino's. Personally , i think we are not full and there is always room for the right sort of people regardless of nationality, colour etc.

... c'mon, mate ... use your eyes!! You know as well as I do, that Mainland ... as a tiny island off the coast of Europe, is grossly overpopulated in proportion to its size - particularly in areas such as the North of England, the Midlands, and certain East London boroughs - hence some stringent measure of control needs to be exercised.
... it does NOT include Filipinos. Filipinos - unlike many other immigrants - are highly valued here. Deservedly so ... by virtue of their reputation for being a friendly, industrious people - whose efforts have long since contributed SIGNIFICANTLY to our nation's economy - and, as such, can easily integrate into British society.
... up to a point. Nevertheless, human nature being what it is, people will nearly always gravitate towards LARGER cities - ANYWHERE - simply because that is where most job opportunities [and amenities] are to be found. Therefore, it's hardly surprising that the areas I mentioned above will, in turn, account for the greatest population density ... rural parts of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to a lesser extent, obviously.
And as for the "right people" ... yes! But the trouble IS, this country is all too often a magnet for attracting the wrong sort ... those who somehow manage to enter illegally ... while the authorities relentlessly persist in making it difficult for decent, law-abiding folk who want nothing more than to settle with their British husbands and/or wives.
Totally !

Let it also be understood ... I AM NOT racist in any way! Peoples' nationality and/or skin colour make no difference to me ... so long as they ARE decent, genuine people.

Arthur i wasnt suggesting you were a racist.
My point was really that any immigration policy CANNOT be selective to allow in Filipinos (as we all know they are generally hardworking, honest etc) but must apply to all races, colours. We have room for the right people , i think you agree, so then we cant be full. Although i also agree that some cities are overcrowded (but nothing compared to Manilla gladly!).

The whole world is massively overpopulated...and the UK is no exception.
