The pre-Marriage seminar

Hi my friends, can anyone inform we of what is involved in the The pre-Marriage seminar? Do we apply in our local town of marriage ie CDO for me? How far in advance should we book this? and where should we fit this into our time scale of plans during my 4 weeks there?

Hello songz,i far as i can remember pre marriage seminar here in CDO is every wednesday just be sure to arrive at city health b4 10am.in our case we did our seminar 3 months b4 our actual wedding,hope this will help.

I think you are both exempt if you are above a certain age.

We managed to find a way around doing it but that involved paying an agent who also helped us with the marriage etc.

Both of you will be separated from the rest(special seminar they say)we just spend like 30 minutes then come back in the afternoon to collect the certificate,we just pay P50 i guess for cert

Ah the pre marriage seminar. 5 hours listening to a gay man with painted toenails lecturing us on the birds and bees.

The reason we contemplated a route that successfully avoided the seminar was simply that we couldn't fit it in to our limited time schedule (available time off from work here in Britain). Otherwise we would have simply gone ahead with the seminar.
