So with just four teams left, who are your tips for winners and runners-up?

Personally I think Portugal will do Spain tomorrow night. Spain bore the hell out of me, and play in such an easily predictable way. They are good at keeping possession and quick movement and passing, but hate playing with any width. If you just hold your line in the centre, and stick to your position and allow Spain to move the ball around without chasing down too heavily, then Spain won't go anywhere and will start getting frustrated and make mistakes. They showed this most against Croatia. Second half they left gaps at the back where they couldn't get through the middle as easily as they like to normally, but Croatia couldn't capitalise. Change that to a player like Ronaldo, who started the first two games poorly, but has exploded in the last two, then Spain will have huge issues!

Germany will easily do Italy, and if they don't win the final aswell then in footballing terms, justice hasn't been done. It pains to say it, but Germany have looked awesome so far, and haven't had to get out of 2nd gear much yet. We saw this against Greece where they were too casual and wasteful, until Samaras scored the equaliser, then we saw what the Germans could do. Greece were torn a new one, and if there was any longer left in that game it could easily have been 5-6 +

So yeah, Germany v Portugal final, Germany to win

Portugal for me, the one I'd prefer to win out of a fairly unsavoury bunch

Must say i hate football. What particularly annoys me is when a major game ends with a penalty shootout. Seems totally unfair and thats one reason i dont watch it. Another is i find it hard to accept the money that gets paiod to so called proffessional footballers.

Much prefer rugby!

I'm a sport lover in general, Cricket being my main love as a child, Rugby being the most entertaining to watch, but football just has something about it. Maybe it's because since a young age I've been on the terraces of my local team, and can't get out of that habbit, but it's definitely a way of life. I have to age with you over the wages, and the fact that 90% are drama queens doesn't help either, but I wouldn't want to be without it.

Anyway, tonight the Germans will steam past the Italians, I hope, and then show the Spaniards whose boss on Sunday.
