Tourist visa extension in philippines
as from today new rules apply for extending tourist visa,s in the philippines ,you must show outbound return ticket original copy or no extension will be granted .only reason i can think of why they are doing this is to route out non genuine tourists .lots of upset people in the cebu boi today .Thing that gets people mad is the lack of notice they gave which was virtually nil

Having discussed with a friend who processes visas in Cebu, I'm lead to believe its only the final extension after 24 months that is requiring the return ticket. However, no official ruling from the BOI head office has been seen about this yet, and it doesn't seem to have been implimented at other BoI offices yet.

If that was the case Tiger, I think you would need a ticket everytime you went to renew your visa
