Spouse Visa Granted
I lodged my spouse visa application on Feb 15, after nearly 5 weeks of waiting, I received the best e-mail ever last Monday March 26 saying, "Your visa will be despatched shortly. Passports can normally be collected from the Visa Application Centre after 3 days. Applicants in Australia and New Zealand should allow 3 days before tracking their documents via the local post. UKBA-Manila Visa Hub." Today, March 28, I received my passport back with visa stamped on it and all original documents.
My sincerest thank u to everyone for the tips and advice; we finally got my visa approved. yehey!
I would like to extend my gratitude to the following people: Boss keith, Ate Rayna, Sir Arthur, Terpe, Steve.r, Joebloggs, Doc Alan, Lastlid, graham, rusty and all other members who gave their views and advice. Thank you.
Here is how I build my spouse visa application.
1. Settlement Visa Checklist:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/si...settlement.pdf
2. Manager’s Check amounting of P58, 320 (paper clipped to printed online application)
3. Printed online application filled up form (WIFE) with 1 passport size photo pasted on it. Here’s the website
where you can apply online http://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk
4. My Passport bio-data and all stamped pages (old and new)
5. Marriage certificate (NSO in SECPA & Certified thru copy from the Civil Registrar Office)
6. Official score report of English language test for Reading, Listening and Speaking only and its filled up VAF4a Annex (ELT) form for English test requirement.
7. College Diploma and Transcript of records.
8. Notarized Copies of my mortgaged properties.
9. My Bank Certificate
10. My bank statements (3 months)
11. My hubby’s bank statements (7-months, 2-3,500 pounds savings but the last bank statement was lower in balance than usual)
12. My Hubby’s 6-months pay slips, Employment contract & P60
13. Tenancy agreement (already expired but the Letting agency explained on their letter that a new fixed tenancy will be prepared in joint names)
14. Letter of Support from the Letting Agency confirming the size of the house, available rooms and no objection for me to live there.
15. Council Tax Bill, Water Bill.
16. Scanned copy of my Hubby’s passport (bio-data and all its stamped pages, He signed every page for authenticity.)
17. Supporting letter from my hubby
18. Supporting letter from myself (Applicant)
19. Western Union Receipts (proof that my husband sends me money each month to support me)
20. Our both birth certificates
21. Photographs together from the first meeting, 2nd meeting, photos in UK together and wedding photos.
22. YM Screen shots, chat logs and Skype screen chats (I printed some samples of our YM conversation from the beginning, middle and present. I didn’t print out everything as 2 rims of bond paper won’t be enough since we started chatting in 2007).
23. Proofs that we met face to face such as old itinerary, used boarding passes, hotel receipts, old theatre ticket for London show, The London eye souvenirs & receipts, valentines and other holiday cards.
24. I also submitted some of our wedding expenditures receipts (wedding gown, venue and catering services, cake, sound system etc.)
25. UKBA Document Receipt Nov 2011 Final. ( This is to confirm the receipt of documents that you have submitted with your visa application).
CFO seminar tomorrow, I'll be flying on the 7th of April with Etihad Airways.
Best of luck to all whose still in the midst of waiting, never give up and keep praying, GOD is so good all the time.
Juvy xxx

Here is the copy of the Supporting letter I wrote.
British Embassy,
Manila,
The Philippines.
12th February, 2012.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing in support of my settlement visa application. I am the wife of Mr xxxx who is currently settled in the UK. We have been together as a couple for 4 years, been married for over 3 months and sincerely hoping that you would grant our request to be together again.
I am currently being supported by my husband monthly. But I have some savings amounted to xxxxx in our joint bank account here (please see attached bank statements and Bank Certificate). I have been saving from the money that my husband sends me each month, some from our wedding monetary gifts and some from my rented properties. I got these mortgaged properties early last year (please see attached copies of notarized agreement) for xxxx pesos and xxxxpesos. Although I agreed to put my mother’s name on the agreement because I was away during that time, the said real estate properties was paid using my own savings. I never want to be a burden in UK so I intend to seek employment on arrival in the UK which will further increase our income, my friends in London agreed to help me find job once I am settled.
As my husband explained on his covering letter, please take into consideration that the balance on his last bank statement shows only xxxx, however, he receive his monthly wage on the 31 so that’s why It was not appearing on the last bank statement. I asked if he could request balance certificate from his bank but unfortunately the bank won’t issue such kind of certificate for some reason. I agreed to my husband that my savings would be used either towards my trip expenditures or as my pocket money to UK.
We chat on a daily basis using yahoo messenger during the week when he is at work and Skype on weekends (please see samples of chat logs and screen shots).
I am sincerely crying for help Sir/Madam. I just want to be with my wonderful husband and start a lovely family together in the UK. We have always been apart from each other for the last 4 years and despite the great distance we know for sure we love each other so much and that we want to spend the rest of our lives together. God knows we are willing to do anything to be with each other again.
Kind Regards,
Juvilyn Jones
