"Just Married"
Hi,
Been here for for 5 months now and enjoying every momentand the icing on the cake is that I married last week. It was just a civil wedding but every thing went smoothly from applying for licence to getting marriage certificate. My next goal is to get resident status, this may be more difficult,I will keep you informed.
Thanks for all the best wishes from my previous post.

... I don't see why.
If you've adhered to the terms of your original visa (fiance visa ??) then the rest is plain sailing, albeit at a cost !
... however, if you were on a student visa, then yes... not that simple. No man is an island, but Barry is

Congratulations Keith
Just as Sim11UK says, it's really great to hear that you're enjoying life in 'the islands' and planning your next move.
Most of the grumbling and complaining is usually from people who were ill prepared for a move to another country.
In other words, they didn't do their homework.
We know you did plenty of research and now it's paying off. Well done and all best wishes for the future.
When you mention resident status Keith, are you talking about the 13a visa or something else?
