Philippine Passport Renewal

Hi everyone,

Just want to ask how long will it takes for a phil passport renewal?

and any requirements needed that's not on the list ??? bcoz phil gov are good on that, they keep asking what you don't have

do I have to book for an appointment or just drop by is ok already?

and anyone knows when is the Philippine Embassy in London's holiday??? I e-mailed them 3 times now but no answer for 2 months since my first e-mail and a month ago for my last e-mail .

I don't wanna go there and then their on holiday lol

my Wife renewed her passport at the beginning of December she received her new passport on the first week of Jan. they said it could take 6-8 weeks. we went to the embassy just after it opened not many people there we did not have to book. http://philembassy-uk.org/consular_P...formation.html
the only other thing to bring with you is a pre- paid special delivery envelope from the post office so they can send your passport back to you.

My wife has to renew her passport in the next 1-2 weeks, and perhaps a stupid question.... but ....

The second section.... name of husband.
Obviously me.
But then... name of father / mother.
Is this referring to me or my wife ???

Additionally.... my wife already has her married name in her passport (it was amended), so do we still have to go thru this rigmarol of (again) providing the marriage certificate (plus 4 copies), because they originally saw it (and copied it, and filed it away) to do the name amendment ?

Anyone been in similar position ?
