    Serial sex addict adulterer Giggs admits Blackmail allegations were baseless

    Ryan Giggs has admitted glamour model and former Big Brother star Imogen Thomas did not blackmail him over allegations of an extra-marital affair.

    The Premier League player is said to have had an affair with Ms Thomas and was granted an injunction earlier this year to prevent the media from naming him.

    But Mr Justice Eady, at the High Court, said there was no longer any point in trying to maintain the footballer's anonymity.

    The injunction had up to now remained in place despite the Manchester United star having been named on the internet, in foreign newspapers and in the House of Commons.

    But the injunction had not prevented Ms Thomas from being named.

    She was accused of blackmail, of setting up the footballer and of trying to sell her story. Until now she had been unable to respond openly to these allegations.

    Thomas' lawyers have spent months arguing that her name has been dragged through the mud.

    She should take him legally to the cleaners for making these vicious untrue allegations. He should also be stripped of his Sports Personality of The Year award. An Oscar for acting the part of Mr Goody Two Shoes Happily Married might be a possibility though.

    Not really at the High Court today - she put the boot in with a short statement outside court but Giggsy didn't have the bottle to turn up despite starting the legal action in a costly yet ultimately futile attempt to hide his infidelity

    Real men like Rooney, JT and Cashley front it out and take their Mrs on holiday to Dubai or bring it to an end with a costly divorce
