swimming with whale sharks
anyone done this yet, we are in legaspi this jan and i have read that donsol is one of the best places to see and swim with these creatures,

It looks fantastic Steve, but I was unable to do it due to the terrible weather when I was in Bicol back in August. Have a great time and take lots of pics

I did it once, by accident!
We were diving off Mactan Island in Cebu. Just after getting into the water, my dive buddy started waving his hands and pointing behind me. As I turned around, an enormous whale shark filled my entire field of vision as it swam by. It was massive!

Oh I've done this when my officemates and I went to Donsol last year..It was the best experience!
we got to swim with 3 whale sharks and at one point I was in front of it and tried my best to get away from it's front as quickly as possible..hahaha...the dive guides took videos of it from one of my officemates' digital camera..i'll try to download it and post it here..

I used to let my kids swim with the sharks .... Great Whites and I tied raw steak around the kids necks
