VAF2 Question 3.2
hi everyone
need some advice
on question 3.2
on Application form VAF2 - Settlement (PDF, 139K)

3.2 Have you ever been engaged to be married, or agreed to form a civil partnership?
me and Cynthia got engaged in march. (both have never been engaged before this)
do we answer yes to the question or does the question only relate to previous relationships?

If i rember right it would be no. Why they dont have a help/example pdf with the form like they do for ilr.

It means PREVIOUS relationships....just wants to know if your piddling about.
Stupid over paid UK civil servant obviously doesn't know what the word EVER means, as that does refer to anything before this very second, with anyone. Plonkers.
The question, in case Mr Civil Servant is reading is;
3.2 Have you ever been engaged to be married, or agreed to form a civil partnership, WITH ANYONE OTHER THAN YOUR CURRENT PARTNER?Keith Driscoll - Administrator

this confused me before, don't know if they refer to previous or current relationship so i just answer yes but specified that aside from my sponsor, i never been engaged in the past. hope this is just fine, need to be backed in English school :-)
