'Jilted' French throws airport tantrums - NAIA
MANILA, Philippines — Medical doctors at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport were forced Thursday to sedate a French national who became unruly inside the terminal after having been stood up by his Filipino girlfriend.
Dominique Albert George Fremond, a 55-year-old French national, who arrived in the country from Paris on a Saudi Airlines flight Thursday afternoon was spotted roaming all over the terminal looking for his Filipino girlfriend who was supposed to pick him up at the airport.

It's a sad state of affairs, sad that some people are so naive to the world, and susceptible to scamming or being left in the lurch. That being said, the girl could have made just chickened out and not had the confidence to say so, I've heard of this several times, but our froggy friend could have just gone on and enjoyed his time in the Philippines.
