I know this is not funny...but it does made me laugh

Maybe theres a mathematical explanation to it?

Peso / corrupt government = sterling pounds

insanity- doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different outcome...

The explanation is that the rate then was £1.00= PHP15.00.
When it went to PHP20.00 we all thought we were rich!!
Now I feel like a zillionaire.

I have a feeling that the ££ will go down further due to the housing crash and rising inflation thats on the horizon..
This is bad news for me..I might even buy a shed load of Euros before its too late.

i dont think so, too many immigrants here now, pushing up demand..

I could be wrong but when Interest rates are set to hit 6% at least by year end to control rising inflation..With people paying mortgages at 6 times their annual salary, somthing has to give.. IMO it will be a housing CRASH!!
Im not sure how immigrants can afford our property prices and with landlords profits reducing to less than 3% they would be better off selling up and stashing the money in the bank.. They can get 6.25% with a simple savings bond these days.
