Hi everyone not been on for a while I think I've
Been a bit rude as I was just getting so depressed seeing so many get there visas ,for that I apologise ,well my wifes visa gt refused in April so we tried to get it overturned but with no success ,now it's the hearing in Glasgow on the 1st nov the refused to overturn it on the evidence of my earnings, for it not being on noted paper, and for the month April 2010 I never earned I did try explain I was in Philippines getting married that month, and on one of my bank statements it showed only 500 pounds it was one of my statements after only getting bck to work for only one week after a visit to the Philippine , I just feel as if me my wife and son are being victimised , I would just like to take this chance to congratulate all the ones who have there visas just hope my wife will be one soon

Hi Alan, I'm so sorry to hear about this. Are you self employed? In a worst case scenario, I believe after 4 years of marriage you can bring your wife in regardless.
In the meantime, I'd just concentrate on making hte paperwork of your financial status look good for them and try and get the application reassesed based on that.

Yes self employed rickyr , my solicitor who is working on my behalf just cant understand y they refuse it on wht I believe to be something so trivial, I've gt my last 10 years tax invoices from the tax office to show that I've always worked to show at the hearing, do they never take in to account on the costs I pay when I go to see my wife as it won't be in my bank when I need to go spend time with my family and that I can look after them finacialy just now when there in the Philippines so it's more likely I can provide for them here

OK, so this could be turned into a human rights issue to be fair. Especially if you brought your son to the UK.

So Ricky u mean in the worst scenario if they still refuse visa in the hearing ,I should bring my son here without my wife, then make it a human rights issue then ,

Well, it a possibility, have you used a specialist immigration lawyer and found out their professional opinion?
I'd like to think under Human Rights, you'd have a right to not having a broken family caused via immigration laws.

I imagine you'll be successful at the hearing based on what you have said as they do take the wider picture into account.

Thanks for that win2win I just need a big boost of confidence for this hearing as it's hard trying to make my wife feel confident when I get so low myself
