WW2 and vintage aircraft
Every year on the first weekend of September, a farmer in the next village holds one of the UK's best WW2 and vintage aircraft shows. We get treated to 2 days of flypasts and aerobatic displays from the great aircraft of our past. Here's a couple of pics.

Love old planes, cars, ships, trains.
We have the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington near York, (includes an airworthy Nimrod, and I believe the only surviving Halifax bomber) plus of course we have the National Railway Museum in town.
