Finally a benefits cheat is caged
Encouraging news - more often than not these creatures receive a limp wristed non custodial or suspended sentence
A benefits cheat who ran a successful building company received nearly £106,000 in handouts, after claiming he could not work because he had tennis elbow.
Michael Corrie, 50, from Epsom, Surrey, was caught out after the Department for Work and Pensions received a tip-off from neighbours, alerting them to what he was up to.
Over three and a half years he and his wife, Zoba claimed £105,955 in benefits while at the same time driving his company van and carrying out work for neighbours.

perhaps this will be the start of sensible sentencing
