malaria info

hi again, i am going to vigan in northern phils in the middle of september. I dont like taking tablets for anything so am a little wary of takin malaria tablets. We will be in air-con rooms and can use deet strong repellent, do people think this is ok or should i bite the bullet and fill my body with chemicals?
