The new English Test
the price is a bit of a joke !!!
Fresh from a call this morning.....5000p to log on and get the course work and then only 8900p each time you take it
They do target the easy ones it seems

Did you check out the UKBA approved list?
All of the various English tests are quite expensive. In the region of about P7000 - P8500
You really need to find a test centre that offers an appropriate test at reasonable cost, close to where your wife live. Many of these test centres also arrange review classes for those whose self-confidence needs a boost.
UKBA requires applicants to pass ANY English Language test that meets or exceeds the A1 level of the European Common framework.
There are a number of different tests that can be taken, and a number of Approved Providers and test-centres but they must be on the UKBA approved listing.

just registered last tuesday at IELTS makati payed P8,640 to be exact.....confirmation email came yesterday scheduled july 28 and 30 at shangrila hotel makati.....

no wonder iit is expensive if they use teh Shangrila Makati... plenty of decent venues available without that expense

I will take the A1 ENGLISH EXAM
good for you because I payed my Test fee for the A1 english test for 9,840 :( too expensive but it is very needed so ... NO CHOICE ;/
I will still be taking my exam on the 10th of September, and I have no idea what are the possible questions are going to be ask. Is there anybody who have an experience already? share??
