Yes, I liked all sorts of different stuff.
It was more about the mood of the music, where you were listening to it (club/disco or pop concert), or in association with some particular bird you were daydreaming about at the time.

Ok pop pickers
The lead singer in all the bands is the same guy Tony Burrows,He was banned for by the idiots at the BBC for appearing with 3 different groups in the 70s!
This was in the same show!
Never really achieved the acclaim he warranted as he never really pushed his career as much as he could have done, but his unmistakeable happy pop voice has had many a foot tapping.
Here is my fav song of his you can't get much happier than this-play it all the time in Taxi

Ah....got it now.
Was just imagining your taxi cruising around Harrogate with all that uplifting music brightening up everyone's day.
Again, reminds me of that lovely mad Philippines,
and on my first visit finding myself in a Jeepney in some outlying suburb of Manila, full of smiling teenage schoolgirls and 'Smoke on the water' blaring out of big speakers.
Me thinking...man this is so surreal, but so much FUN.

Yes I remember outside my girlfriends house in Davao at about 11pm,this local guy brought his ghetto blaster out and started pumping out that soft American pop/rock stuff they like so much in Philippines, wish we could do that here-no bloody fun in uk anymore
