Do we need 2 sets of supporting docs for spouse and dependant applying at same time?

Hi! I haven't posted for a long time. Was wondering if somebody had an experience with applying for UK settlement visa for spouse and dependant at the same time? We completed all the requirements and realized when we were organizing the docs that we only have one set. Hubby is already here in Manila and will not be able to request for a new set. We were hoping to apply next week. If two sets are needed, will a photocopy of supporting docs for spouse suffice for the child? I'm in panic mode. I hope somebody can give me advise. Thank you so much in advance! :-)

Hi, yes you need 2 sets of supporting documents, photocopies are fine as you have the originals...

Hi aryM! Thank you so much! That's a relief to hear. We were afraid we need to postpone it again. Thanks again!

Hi jen28! Yes, that's what happened to me also. I was super organized, files in clear sheet in 2 binders. I was dismayed to find out that I can't submit the whole binder and had to take everything out of the clear sheets and separate the originals from the photocopies. But all's well that ends well. I lodged our application at VFS last May 18,got the notification that visa is ready for dispatch May 26!
@aryM : Thanks again and goodluck on your application. :-)
