Yes ... this might work, Mari. Good ! And by all *accounts ['scuse the *pun!] Eliza's family can maybe even afford to pay for what IS, after all, her visa. I'm sure they'd be only too pleased to help out for the sake of their daughter's/sibling's long-term happiness. I've already suggested to Tony that he could consider approaching his local MP about how the lack of suitable job opportunities affects his financial situation.

Hello. I"m called Tony aswell.
I am in a similar situation to you. I moved back home on being made redundant. I am part-time self employed but have been offered a job playing music in a band. so not sure how much I will be earning so the visa thing will be difficult for me too.
Last time I looked the cheapest 2way fare to PH was in the low £400"s from manchester Go to. My fare was £500 from Brnham last Oct.cheapflights.co.uk
I understand it"s more expensive for filapinos to come to the UK though, I may be wrong.
