Strange.....put Gerrard in his CORRECT position, and he bangs in a classic goal getting everyone ever so slighty off the hook!! Will McClown have the bottle to drop Lampard, Mr Toungue Flicker......??

well england were crap just as i expected, being a taxi driver ive heard it all,no point on picking on manager,he's not man for job but thats not the problem-the simple fact is the current crop of english players are just not good enough! with the exception of gerrard,an in form rooney thats it. how many of the england players would get in the italian, brazilian, argentine, french side? its an era of averageness. i too was fooled by the hype in world cup.we never looked convincing and a average italian side won it.we will qualify for euro 2008 but we aint gona do out,but il be dreaming like everyone else-til we lose on penalties.

I think a good manager would be able to focus rooney's energy, at the moment he is just a
.
Also I think point blank removing beckham from the lineup just shows how big headed the guy is..- ok beckhams days may be almost over but he is there to be utilised, if not in the position of captain.
maybe the best thing would be just to get lots of young players out there, we know we cant win it this time so why not get the practice in for next time?
ultimately its a pretty hopeless cause

They thought they'd use his lack of fitness, lack of speed, and loss of skill to fool the enemy!!!
