id like to know how much is the cost for biometric?

I guess this is in addition to the visa fees

As Dedworth says..... if you use the Post Office, there's an additional fee to pay.
If you get it done at Croydon, there ain't.
HOWEVER, to be eligible to have the biometrics in the first place, you have
to have applied for your FLR, and have received your acknowledgement letter..
.."You must bring the back page of the letter (which includes your case reference number, full name and date of birth) with you when you attend the Post Office Ltd branch. If you fail to bring the back page of this letter with you, Post Office Ltd will not be able to proceed with your enrolment".
The biometrics are for the ID card (which has replaced the "new" visa in the passport).
The ID card is only issued upon successful completion on the FLR application.No man is an island, but Barry is
