The Permit-Free Festivals List
News from the UKBA website
30 November 2010
The UK Border Agency has published the requirements for inclusion on the 2011/12 permit-free festival list, and details of how to apply for inclusion on the list.
Participants in cultural events and festivals on the list can come to the UK as entertainer visitors, instead of needing to seek entry to the UK under the points-based system.
Chapter 2 of our immigration directorate instructions explains, in Annex A (page 59), how the organisers of festivals can apply for their events to be included on the list. Applications should be sent to:
Permit free festivals
Non-PBS operational policy team
UK Border Agency
Level 2
Vulcan House - Steel
UK Border Agency
PO Box 3468
Sheffield
S3 8WA
Please note that this address is not the same as in previous years.
The deadline for applications is 18 February 2011.
If you have any queries about the application process, please send them to permitfreefestivals@ukba.gsi.gov.uk
