    Well me and the missus paid 227 pounds of tax on our last air tickets so i guess we were taxed in and out of the country

    That is included in the ticket, as are the Philippine airport duty & taxes. What the Phil charge is not exactly internationally legal according to the airline T&C.

    Lets hope brown doesn't see how the phill airports get away with it otherwise im sure little booths will pop up at every airport in the UK
