Life In The UK Test
As everyone connected with this excellent site is aware, one of the compulsory requirements on the journey towards UK Citizenship, is for applicants to demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of the British lifestyle. And consequently, I'm delighted to announce that my dear wife, Myrna sat the examination in Dundee last Saturday forenoon and passed it. ... !

Congratulations to Myrna, but also to you Arthur because I'm sure you have helped prepare her (and maybe paid the fee ? ...relatively cheap at 34 GBP including VAT at its present rate !)

Life in the UK test ... if it's the same one i snooped on a few years ago in Brum (when i needed to use an internet cafe) ... it's dam hard ... like, many of the questions i couldn't answer ....
i was born here and lived here for the better part of my life, yet, i would have probably failed it
and i'm smart! lolz ... some thick people wouldn't even be able to be citizens of their own country if they needed to sit it!

Congrats to Myrna for passing the citizenship test.. I haven't got mine just yet as I believe the fee goes up every year and i have no intention to do it yet until perhaps a year or so after a Philippine holiday this year. How much did you pay for the test? Please let me know as I have no idea...
i have to renew my philippine passport for the time being, apply for my 2 kids' british passport, sorting out the return tickets arrrgh! of course not to forget pocket money.... too much thinking and i'm worrying a lot now.
Again, congratulations to Myrna!Taka care now & Bye!.... Venus
