Hello Languish! Thank you for the post. Thanks for the positivity you are sharing with me. Thank you for enlightening me about the relationship me and my fiancee have now and now I understand we are really soul mates and destined to be together. Its a matter of faith, patience, love and trust with God and to all his plan. I just love him so much that each day Im hurt not being with him and I know he feels the same way as well. Please pray for us that soon enough God will grant our hearts desire.

Walang anuman No doubt, it is hard to stay positive and upbeat, and trust me i know this very well but really you don't have much choice so its better to be happy than sad right? I haven't seen my syota now since April, and i miss her terribly, but i will see her again soon. Our love is so strong we can survive the time and distance. Time will come when we are next with each other again. It's truly worth the wait and god will reward us both for our patience.

    Best wishes to you both

    Hi Dennie!

Read your thread, feeling sad for you and your partner's situation. My heart goes out to you both, as it looks like you both need to meet up and embrace each other in the real world.

I appreciate he wants a job in a security field. He could try temping, it's not great, but could give a quick boost in money short term - also possibly lead into a permanent position. Temping though is tough in some towns from what I have heard, as there are sometimes fewer jobs than there are people on agency books. If he has his heart set on security work, then I would imagine when job hunting (now), it is just best to cast a wide net. Go for a job one perhaps would not have considered before.

If he can do part-time study at college while working, possibly even Open University (OU) study instead it is something. I believe with OU study, it is possible to get financial support to the tune of about £850 a year on course fees, if a household earns less than £30,000 a year.

It is really good to see you are supporting him and trying to help find him work, it says a lot about you and goes to show your true love for him. You are strong and the desire is there for the relationship, so hopefully a job is waiting for your partner somewhere around the corner

I am not a religious person, but appreciate the fact that something created us. For this reason, I hope that whatever did create us, can manoeuvre some factors and can create a job opening for your partner soon. Keep hunting though, I am sure something good will come soon for him. Crossing both fingers and toes for a job opening to appear in Scotland, for your partner to grab with using both hands.

Be strong and keep the smile in your picture going

Hello Ayumbar! Thanks for the sympathy and comment. Yes we really need to be in each others side. We have not been so happy in this life until we have meet. We both do have this kind of feeling. It feels like even though we have this thousand miles apart distance we still try to go through it because we believe that we are created for each other. We believe that we are each others missing piece. I do love him much more than I love myself.

And yes, Im doing any possible things I can just to be with him. At some point it stresses me out that things are not falling into place but I never stop believing and trusting and the faith I have with the Gods that things are happening for a reason and the reason is He wants to test our love and make it strong. I know even though we are apart the bond for each other is always there. It feels like we are just beside each other but I know it would be different when we are together.

Ayumbar, would you kindly expound on the Temping work. LOL i have no idea about this though..and yes we are looking for an Open University kind of school where he can at least do studying at home. Can you help me with this as well? Thank you and im sorry if im asking you too much for a favor. God Bless you!

Will pray for you dennie. It must be really hard t o not have a father figure and here comes the only man who taught you how to really love unconditionally. Well, God has plans for the both of you. If the two of you are really meant to be, God will provide the events that will soon cross both of your paths.

we have the same story. just that im not as skilled as you are and WAS with a younger man. it's been a year now and i think we're kinda giving up now. its hard for me to find a way to be there or work there coz im not qualified in anything and he's also out of job. we both dont have money he might go out of UK to teach in asia.

i got an offer to escort a 30 pax european tour for 17 days around May-April, might be 2-3 tours all in all. almost all countries in europe, UK not included

i guess fate is telling me i will never, ever see UK and be with him
Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.

Whatever is meant to be will always find its way.

All I ever wanted is to be happy ...

... and you WILL be; a few hours ago, I'd occasion to remind 'ghee' - whose situation is very similar to yours - of the second part of her "signature" which, as you may already have noticed, reads:

"Whatever is meant to be, will always find its way"

    please, and take heart, Dennie!
