My heating is on today as it's gone a bit chilly.
You really need to sort out your heater now scottishbride.
    Summer is over.
It's been raining all the time recently.
    I hated it!

you should be wearing clothes and not your house clothes consisting of a small pair of shorts and small top

my boiler broke down twice within weeks of each other, seems to me that once something gets changed another part might break
i have learnt to do what my wife says!

Really Boss? Well guess what they did? The previous engineer put the TIMER on without even mentioning it to me. The Engineer who came this morning is quite good and very helpful he even teach me the key functions etc. etc.. So my heater is up and running.. problem solved.

    We have extra boiler here.
We were using oil for our centralized heating before but due to gov't safety rules, we changed from oil to electric.

Mel ... I sympathise with you. The 'East Neuk' is not exactly known to be the warmest part of the UK - even in midsummer - as I remember only too well from my days at Boys' Brigade Camp in Elie between 40 and 50 years ago. Our camp was always held during the first week of July ... but it might as well have been December, because it was invariably freezing cold!

Remiss of the engineer ... not telling you he'd adjusted the timer ... but I'm glad to read that your Central Heating system is now "up and running again".

, James. ... so which of the three is ACTUALLY you:

    1. the guy clad in black with the cross?

    2. the cool dude in the bespoke suit & tie?

    or

    3. the muscular hunk displaying his tatooes?

    I'll wager Numbers 1 and 3 ... because there's a resemblance between the two ... whereas 2's too old!

I like oil than electric boss.
I hear nothing inside our shower room and we have more hot water!
It's bit noisy if electric and need to switch off/on unlike oil I don't need to do it.
