Temporary Northumbria Police Chief Constable Sue Sim
Did anyone see that Northumbria Acting Chief Constable Hairdo on the news last night, I pissed myself. She reported her own police force to the complaints board for not acting quick enough
Stuff the rule book, fire up the Quattro!
If Gene Hunt or Jack Regan were on the case Moat would have been slotted by now

I've only seen her on the box once since Monday I guess the PR People are keeping her well away from the cameras.

Better watch out guys ... she's maybe still in an "acting" capacity ... but if she's eventually confirmed [as seems likely] she'll be the THIRD female (that I'M aware of) to be appointed to Chief Constable rank in the UK. Two of the Scottish police forces - Fife ... and Tayside (which includes Perth ... where I live) - already have women in charge!! Changed days, huh?

Knowing the Northumbria political landscape her she's no doubt been helped on her way to the top by the local Labour apparatchiks. No doubt she is excellent at risk assessment, compiling inclusion and equality policies but not so adept when it comes to protecting the public and putting criminals before the courts.
