to the United Kingdom ... and also to the Filipino/UK Forum - which, as its name suggests, exists to foster the already excellent relations between our two Nations. Here, you'll be able to communicate online with, and befriend many others who've "trodden the same path" as yourself ... likeminded folk, with whom you can share your feelings on the new - and often daunting - experience of settling into a different culture and lifestyle. Liverpudlians themselves ... ... sometimes called "Scousers" ... have a well-earned reputation for friendliness, so I'm sure it won't be long before you become part of your local community.
So ... enjoy the fellowship we offer, as you eagerly await the birth of your child. Take care & heartiest Congratulations !

Ah me, Ann ... thing is when Myrna first came here, I occasionally gave her *black pudding along with bacon & egg at breakfast time. And she really enjoyed it ... until, one morning, I happened to casually mention *it consisted of dried blood - amongst other things. ... MY mistake! So, of course, that explains why she subsequently checked the label on the haggis.
But ... ... perhaps with a little gentle persuasion ...
