    And Spain.....

    It took me ages to find this, and now I am happy.....



    DEPENDANT OF EU/SPANISH NATIONAL
    IMPORTANT NOTICE: Under Directive 2004/38/EC and according to Real Decreto 240/2007, 16 February, Family members of an EU/EEA National in possession of a valid UK Residence Card are not requiered of a visa to enter Spain. Please note that the UK Residence Permit must state literally that the holder is a family member of an EU/EEA National,

    I believe your wife received her FLR/ILR a long time ago, before the introduction of the ID cards,
    so she has a "residence permit" actually stamped in her passport.

    Does it state "that the holder is a family member of an EU/EEA National", or similar ?
    ... as from what I can see / read, it "must state literally" this.

    If not ... we're still in the same boat as before ain't we ?

    It says..

    type of document-

    Residence Card of a Family Member of an EEA National...

    Houston... We don't have a problem.....

    My wife's UK Entry Clearance says VISA SPOUSE/CP - Spouse/CP of "My Name and My DOB"

    I suppose we will know if this is OK soon when this issue is cleared up.........

    Customs and immigration is usually a painless experience - no visa is required to travel between EU countries (Grand Canary is a part of Spain),
