Ireland . . . after spousal visa, what about Ireland?
Ok, so ...
I may be getting ahead of myself, but . . .
here is my question . ..
after my wife gets her visa to come to live in UK . . . I can take her to ... England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland . . .
but
I really want to bring her to lots of nice places in Southern Ireland . . ..
now,
I know that's a different country . . .
but,
it's not covered in a schenghen visa . ..
so
question is :
how do i get to bring my wife to ireland?????

Never did it myself, but what you need to do is apply for a visa though the Irish Embassy (think you might be able to apply online)
http://www.embassyofireland.co.uk/ho....aspx?id=33732
Unfortunately it does cost though you shouldn't get refused if you apply correctly.
Resist the temptation to go across without a visa (even though it may be possible) as if caught your wife may get deported and a black mark on her passport.

Born at Birth, I can see you're skimming.
May I draw your attention to the sentence where I said:
"4) please dont be deterred . .. if you know the answer . . . please still answer "
so B.A.B, if you have something worthwhile to contribute to answering the question, I'd love to hear it
Second point . . . We know already that Sean/Northerner would like to know the answer to the question . . . therefore, if it was a PM, he would get no benefit from it. I am sure also there will be others who'd like to make use of this information . . . therefore, a PM would not fit that purpose either.
If you feel bad that I didn't add your name to the list, I can add you
James.
