Gettings spose visa is usually a little easier than getting a fiancee visa.

hi liammcg. for me it had to be the philippines. It is after all the brides big day.
All her family and friends can attend and it's just all so nice.
On the plus side, it's all so much cheaper compared to a western marriage thus, having the money you have saved to spend on getting your lady home, or even a couple of nights in the shangri-la in makati, I'm sure she would like that
You need to obtain a ''CNI'' either from brit embassy or your local registry office in the UK. I got mine in the UK. After making the application there in person, I was able to collect it on the 22nd day then, I was free to marry her.
Best of luck liammcg, keep us posted

Hello again, Liam,
Welcome back! Depending upon your work exigencies as an IT Specialist, I would recommend marrying in the Phils and applying for a spousal visa ... thus enabling your - by THEN - wife to complete her nursing studies and undergo subsequent training once she's settled in the United Kingdom.
To do this,YOU'D first need to obtain a Certificate of No Impediment [CNI] from your local Registry Office in England, and SHE, in turn, arrange for an equivalent CENOMAR [Certificate of No Marriage] from her nearest Municipal Civil Registrar.
If you haven't already done so, you might also consider contacting the Royal College of Nursing/General Nursing Council on your fiancee's behalf, as I remember suggesting to you back in July.
Best Wishes.
