Visa appointment in october
Hello everyone
at last we have now booked deannas appointment online at VFS website for October 23rd. This is her spouse visa application. We are also submitting our sons british passport application near 1st october. We hope this will not confuse things and that it will come back in time for the big day.
I am alittle worried too as business in landscape gardening is near to end of season. So i klnow by november it will be slow and hope it will not affect our application.
Any feedback is apreciated
Ron

I did ask the Citens advice to help me with a projected forcast. they stated that within 3 months of starting the business i was earning 350 per week and haved saved 3000 . They then mentyioned due to the winter coming my weekly salary may drop to 200 per week. I may also be entitled to housing benefit.
Now i was alittle worried on this last statement. Maybe its ok or do u think this should not be mentioned on drop in wages earned ??? what you think Joe

Good Luck, Ron! I'm pretty sure everything will be fine with your wife and son's applications; however, it would be as well to await Joe's response as regards the possibility of your entitlement to Housing Benefit. Suffice for ME to mention that I was in receipt of Pension Credit when my missus applied last January ... and her visa was approved just over four weeks later!

Thanks Arthur. I was thinking too that i dont think the CAB should mention anything on wages dropping and housing benefit. Of course i know in december there wont be much work for me when it comes to Garden maintenance but i really think the CAB should not feed this info to ECO. Do you agree arthur or joe.

yes, i wouldn't mention anything about you MIGHT BE claiming any future benefits, like i said they will make a decision on the evidence you supply now, as for your work being seaonal, maybe you can show a slight drop for a few winter months and then show your estitmated earnings will increase again in the spring.. i dont think it will matter much thou just dont show a large drop in your estitmated earnings
has your earnings increased each month ? if so i would mention that, and that you predict they will increase in the year ahead and not mention anything about being seasonal
if you think your earnings are going to drop, get your visa app in asap.

Thanks Joe yers i agree with you and i will speak with CAB to do just that and avoid any mention in drop in earnings due to the seasonal period.
At present business is ok ........but i assume in november things will change and picks up again around feb.
Again thanks for the advice and from all in this thread . BIG THANKS
