    If I could send gas I would, kettle is in hand, as is the coffee maker, printer, saucepans, clothing and a number of other things.

    Well said Iain,

    I had to draw a line in the sand last week too.
    I just wish the families of our wives/fiancees could see the bills we have to pay here in the UK.
    The exchange rate (at times) makes us look a bit like wealthy people to families over there, and granted perhaps we are in comparison, but we are all trying to keep our heads above water in the UK.
    Maybe this is a bad comparison with the floods in Manila at the moment
