PEO in Croydon
hello guyz..morning.. I feel so lucky yesterday that I was able to book for an ILR appointment this coming 25 January 2010 in Croydon. I called them around 8:59 am 40 seconds (hehehe).Lines are closed until 9am.We just moved here in Kent few months ago and the nearest PEO centre is in Croydon..The most familiar place i knew in London is in Victoria..Could someone help me out with the directions going to Croydon particularly the home office building? We'll just go in London by train. One more thing to ask , I believe that you can not apply for ILR 28 days before your qualifyng period ends. the very first I arrived here in UK was on 22 February 2005.I am on a 5 year qualifying period the lady told me that the earliest date I could apply for ILR is on 25 January 2010 and that's the only slot available..Is she correct and just in time with regards to the 28 day rule? I am really afraid and a bit worried that the officer might refuse our application and not be able to refund our fee which costs £1020 + £100 ( 2 dependants of £50 each ) totalling £1,120 and this is a hard earned money

Hi This should Help
http://www.tfl.gov.uk/ the station is not far from the PEO a simple walk down to roads from memory so hard to get lost. It takes 16 mintues to get from Victoria to East Crtoydon station and a stroll of ten to fiveteen mintues to get to croydon east.
Worth trying to get there a little early as the queues bulid up.
For the entire journey as you start out side of london use this site
http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/en/s/timetable/times
You can even print out a little timetableOh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops

Peo
... yeah, as "somebody" has mentioned,
Faversham - London Victoria - East Croydon is the best option
(don't go the Victoria - West Croydon route .... it takes much longer).
(u can also do Faversham - Bromley South - Beckenham Jct - East Croydon
if u REALLY want to avoid London, but it ain't gonna save u much time, if
any)
After exiting East Croydon, turn right and walk down George Street.
At the first major junction turn right.... walk for about 7mins (past the
Jury Inn), and voila, you are there !
A word of caution, don't turn up too early, as they'll turn you away, and tell
you to come back nearer your appointment time.
They ain't keen on people hanging around ... security will move u on.
Hope this helpsNo man is an island, but Barry is
