Help: Certificate of Employment
Good Day Everyone...
I'm a newbie here. i was offered a job true e-mail. as computer applicant at Selsdon Park Hotel.
They send me a copy of my certificate of employment. after i sign the
Certficate i was ask to forward it to immigration consultant for my visa and
they asking me to pay for the visa application 150BGP. i'd like to ask for
someone who can verify and if this is real.. i will attached here all the
documents that they send me. i 'd like to ask someone to verify if this is true
it would be a pleasure.
Thanks,
Joel

Scam.
Sorry to disappoint you, but it is an elaborate scam, and sincerely hope that you have not paid any money yet, as you stand to lose it.
It is all a bit of copy and paste from the Hotel website, plus some half-clever ad-libbing.
Besides, the grammar and spelling on the form are a dead give-away.... Absolutely atrocious.
The writing in capital letters is also a clue....

its a SCAM....
Any job offers from abroad if it is DIRECT HIRE it must have an LMO certification of approval from the host country and with attachment of POEA-Name hire division.
Direct hire offers are not allowed to ask for any amount of moneyThere once was a girl that believed in mankind, that there was still honor and chivalry that existed in everyone of us. She also believed that everyone deserves a chance to prove oneself individually and hoped that the courtesy would be returned. That girl is dead now, and all that is left is her shadow. To give one a chance to prove thyself is a chance for you to become dwindled in the dissappointment.

SCAM
Giveaways:
1) phone nr. 0702....
2) e-mail address - manager won't be using public domain address, more likely work domain...
3) salary - approximately this amount is paid to middle - higher management or highly skilled professionals in UK
Do NOT fall for it...Jiri & Maricel

I'd try to get this thread deleted a soon as you can now that you know it's a scam.
You've given a lot of personal information.

hi there!!
just a personal opinion...
i have worked in a 5 star hotel in the city, and they dont do such thing...
because of the economy crisis most of the hotel specially the big one prefere employee who is already in the country...
sorry to say,,,the phone number that agent or hotel gave you is a mobile phone
and the email add is from msn...wich anyone can have or make...
again on my own opinion,,,its a scam..
think about it
take careI know it seems hard sometimes, but remember one thing, through every dark night, there's a bright day after that. So no matter how hard it gets, keep your chest out, keep your head up and handle it...
