Booked and paid for - going to Phils for 1 week :)
Its a loooong way to go for just a week, but I couldnt take the thought of another 3 Months apart, having last saw my fiancee on 8th May.
So - I land in Manila late on 27th August, and head back on the night of 2nd September. Mid week travel saves a packet on airfares, and www.greenbee.com seem to be able to put together some good deals too. £434 for return flights from London
Its not goingto be long enough but our time together has never been long enough which is, after all, why we're getting married
Hopefully only 2 months 2 wait after this trip til we're together properly

Congratulations on the weddings
Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

Ahhh ... I thought the temptation might just prove a bit hard to resist, after you mentioned "toying" with this in an earlier thread about your fiancee having submitted her visa application. Good on you mate ... and at a bargain price too ... even better! Have a safe trip - and enjoy!

Enjoy your trip!
I just love visiting the Phils. I look upon the long haul flight as just the price I have to pay in order to get myself back to the Philippines.
