Yea, I know, let us just be patient, everything will find it's own time. How about you pinky?when did you lodge your documents?I have been waiting for 6 weeks and 3 days now, others on this thread have been waiting for 13 weeks, and I don't understand why. According to the vfs website, the maximum time for student visa to be processed is 60 working days, since ours is not a settlement visa am not surewhy it is taking them more than 8 weeks to check the docs.I have friends who applied the same time and they already got their result last January 28....let us just pray and hope for the best! God Bless

wew.. I send a email in british embassy asking for a follow up for my application last Jan.6, 08 and this is the reply :

    Dear Mr Soleta

Thank you for your e-mail message.

Due to an unprecedented volume of applications, particularly for NVQ courses in the UK, processing time is currently taking about 30 to 35 working days to process.

We currently deal with an excess of 200 applications per day and while many of those are non urgent, we also deal with many applications that require to be in the UK at the earliest opportunity. For this reason we have a strict policy on dealing with all applications on a first come first served basis.

We confirm to have received your application on 07 January from the Visa Application Centre and have started the processing of the application. We hope to make a decision in due course.

-hey guys why dont you try to email? try to ask for your application.
this is the email address: ManilaVisaEnquiries@fco.gov.uk

i know someone was denied... but not sure if i am allowed to disclose his/her name...

but the reason for the refusal: WAS STEW-PID (with brit accent)!!!

It was indeed very stupid! I was able to read the ECO's decision!

    Exclamation Appeal

hahaha zob i know that person who got denied hahaha

anyway i'll re appeal. in tagalog AAPELA AKO.even tho it wud cost me about 20 thousand.
i consulted an immigration lawyer just today and he is very confident that the case is strong.

if i re apply for my visa, it could take me 2 months and 1 week before i could know if theres an available slot for lodging and another 3 to 4 months just to wait for the result of the visa.

    Well...

to the Entry Clearance Officer who's too lazy to check on my Papers! Thanks to you I have to endure another 6 to 8 months tops!
BTW i wont mention her name coz it sounds like an

    heheheh

if the decision is overturned well that would be really great.
