    Application Submitted

    Well

Today Jessica Submitted all of our paperwork for the Visa. She said that the Lady was very friendly and helpful and she found it to be a pleasant experience.

All we can do now is wait, and wait, and wait.......We have been in LDR for over three years, so I suppose 3 more months will be ok !

    Good Luck Belmont.
The next three months you will find very long and hard at times, but the waiting is well worth it......

Good luck Belmont! We are now in our 5th week. I am mostly calm, just little moments of nerves. I think you will get news inside 3 months, most seem to get the news by week 10.

Patience is a virtue. Most of us tend to get too excited or anxious about things, that includes me... A special thing is always a worth waiting investment--- because it is a lifetime gift... for you and your special someone... so Good luck, keep your spirits high!

is there a difference in waiting time depending which type of visa you are applying for?
I thought a fiancee visa was about 5 or 6 weeks - or maybe i'm behind the times.

family permits for Europeans living in the uk are a priority, student visa, work permits, VV are first, then fiancée and spouse visas, so depending on the time of the year and number of applicants, it could be a long wait for brits
