I'm sure there must be plenty of opinions on who the next England manager should be (footie, that is!)... Scolari seems to be back in the frame, and he'd get my vote: been there, done it, won it, outwitted Eriksson twice...

Ronnie the Rotweiller could outwit Sven! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/BouncyHappy.gif

I think we should give Steve'Boro Cup run specialist ago, the worst that can happen is we win bugger all under him, nothing new, so nothing to lose style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Grin.gif At least he holds a lot of respect.....till he gets caught in a Bahrain lap dancing club with a carrot stuck up his ass style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yikes.gif

That was a good prediction Ivor and time will tell if he is a good choice or not but i honestly think he is a better choice that what was available as far as English managers go...

Yes, it appears 20 travellers turned up to camp in front of his house, 17 caravans, 23 4x4's, a dog named cat, and they all had cameras style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Erm.gif

The FA do it again? What a farce, they are nearly as bad as the Jockey Club. Run by total ass holes.

It's obviosu now McLaren should have it, the only UK guy with European Final experience........and obviously a great motivator.....which is what our overpayed bunch of ...... players need. The fact he's already working part time with the squad, doesn't that mean he's had International experience already then?

Would he want the job now though, knowing he was second best?

Oh, he wants it all right! Seems he has admitted to the press that he had an affair - that's the move of a man saying "I know how to handle the press" and "You needn't worry about any skeletons in the cupboard". Hmmm.. shows he can think and adapt maybe?

I saw the film Mike Bassett England Manager (not the TV series) about 3/4 years ago, funniest thing I'd seen for ages style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif
