But Keith, does that mean we've moved nearer to IOM where, of course, they hang people??

Just wondering..Do you think countries like Pakistan and Indonesia will be organising some kind of relief fund?

But of course they will Fred!! After all, we are true democratic neighbours aren't we. You know, what we do for them they do for us.........surely that makes sense????

Expect the billions to flow into Brown's back pocket any day now.

yes for a guys chimney that had fallen down as shown on the bbc news :ARsurrender:, the fund might just be able to pay for it..

'real hustle' is a program on bbc 3, it's about 3 british 'honest' scammers, who have gone to Las Vegas, scamming the americans, but after they've scammed, they give the money back to them thou :doh

PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?

This appeal is to raise money for food, Stella and clothing parcels for those unfortunate enough to be caught up in this British Earthquake disaster.

Clothing is most sought after - items most needed include:

Fila or Burberry baseball caps
Kappa tracksuit tops (his and hers)
Shell suits (female)
White sport socks
Rockport boots and any other items usually sold in Primark.
Food parcels may be harder to come by, but are needed all the same.

Required foodstuffs include:

Microwave meals, Tins of baked beans, Ice cream, Cans of Stella, Colt 45 or Special Brew.

15p buys a biro for filling in the compensation forms.
£2 buys chips, crisps and blue fizzy drinks for a family of 9.
£5 buys B&H and a lighter to calm the nerves of those affected.

Just like when we had the floods, all those affected complaining because their leather sofas and plasma screens got a little damp.
Nothing compared to losing your house/ family etc like in the South Asian tsunami.

Or like New Orleans, a pretty real disaster but no-ones going to send relief funds to the US are they?

Not often I send these types of things out but with the UK earthquake last
night it really makes you think.

With all the news on TV lately about the hurricanes that America is
experiencing, the typhoons in China , flooding in Switzerland and recent
mud slides in South America, we shouldn't forget that the UK has its
share of devastating natural disasters too.

Attached is a photo illustrating the damage caused to my mates home from
the earthquake that occurred last night.

It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take
things for granted.

Do take care of yourself and be safe.

Well better late than never I suppose..
It seems that the relief helicopter that Pakistan sent last week has just arrived at the epicentre in the devastated midlands.
