Although I've posted this article under the "Things To Do In The Philippines", Section ... :anerikke: ... I would've consigned it to "Things NOT To Do [Or Say] in the Philippines" ... were such a Category available.

At just 37 years of age, New Zealand's Prime Minister, :cwm25: Jacinda Arden could be said to be comparatively young to've attained the highest government position in her home country. But, :poke: ... she's surely old enough to know better than to criticise the host nation's customary *business attire - not to mention the President himself - while attending the recent Asian Summit in Manila.

Bah, wrong :Blacklistnonono:!

"It is starched and scratchy ", complained the 'stuffed~shirt'. Well, :icon_rolleyes: ... the cheeky besom's had plenty opportunity to get 'ardened to it!

contrastingly, the US President waxed lyrical in praising the leadership qualities of his Filipino counterpart (whom he addressed as "Rodrigo") ... while expressing personal regret over the latter's strained relationship with his [Trump's] predecessor, Barrack Obama, and trumpeting :xxparty-smiley-050: the Philippines as the most prime location from a military standpoint.
