Rumours are "doing the rounds" within Royal circles that the Queen will abdicate ... if and when she reaches the age of 95. And, needless to say, :icon_rolleyes: ... the press is having a "field day" - with speculation running rife!
But ... :anerikke: ... if you're anything like me, you won't be placing your bets :REGamblMoney01HL1:, let alone holding your breath. :nono-1-1: ... because HM - from as far back as her Coronation in 1953 - vowed she'd NEVER renounce the throne during her lifetime. Nobody else would "take up the reins" of Monarchy, NOR would reign in ANY other capacity until after she, herself, had drawn her last breath.
So, if the papers are to be believed ...
