The men were Asian, aged in their mid/late teens to early 20s and spoke with local east London accents.

If it had been 12 whites attacking an Asian the police would treat it as a racist attempted murder

No racism or hatred involved there. He was white and they were Pakistanis ?

Move along. Nothing to see here. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

I disagree Graham but thinking again I'll replace "the police would treat it as a racist attempted murder" with the line normally used by the media when a gang of whites unprovokedly attack a lone "ethnic" which is "The Metropolitan Police are treating the incident as a racially motivated assault"

No I believe we will move more to the right in time and sort this situation out. When I get people of all classes and ages moaning to me about it it gives me hope. That's why as I've said before there had been no bombs going off as they know the retaliation from even moderate rights would be huge.

Correct Fred. Very sad.

No matter how much the well-intentioned anticipate the various 'communities' sitting down together in the future and singing Khum By Yah ...in the real world, conflict is inevitable.

Thats the problem and with all the people from different war zones and hating each other, but living in the same town over here, well it will not take long before its a no go zone for many

It has been so for a long time in parts of Leeds and Bradford.
