Damned disgrace ... WHY the hell is this being allowed to happen? :cwm23:

We all know there is a simple answer to this situation, just do as the Philippines do, and dont allow Foreign people/companies to own British property, however thats much to simple and their needs to be the Political willpower to do this, but as there is BIG money involved it wont ever happen.

Its a case of NOT what you know, but who you know. It has been stated many times over that their is a shortage of houses in the UK, yet you cant drive through any City or big Town without seeing a Doctors/Dentists/Estate agency or some form of office having a House as its HQ or Local Branch, This should stop NOW, I know it would only be a small drop in the ocean, but it would help ease the situation, a House should be used for what it was originally intended (to be lived in) there is lots of unused office space around the Country, indeed more than enough for these establishments to utilise, again it comes down to Government both Local and National to bring this to a full stop.
Its often the simple things that cost little or nothing that can help these situations, but as usual their are NOT enough votes involved for the Politicians of whatever persuasion to bring it about.

This has been going on a large upward trend since 2005.. UK property prices were (and still) are due a large correction but these foreign mobs,institutions,Arabs,Chinese etc stopped that happening.
The politicians wont do anything because local councils are receiving a lot of cash in property tax for these types of expensive dwellings.. A nice little loop hole..A .... load of cash! :omg:
