At least there is bank holiday and Sunday pay enhancements :)

Hopefully a small consolation.

Less of a time gap between us and our partners in the Phils. More convenient for chatting. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

not only an important reminder to members who are UK-based,
but also to those who are in phil, so we can keep track and not call our loved ones at the wrong time in uk :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Should've read your post sooner. I woke up confused yesterday and my darling husband forgot to tell me! Good thing our phones are connected to the internet and automatically adjust the time.

Thanks Arthur for the reminder.
I'd completely forgotten about that.
Helps with my timing when contacting to UK is needed.

Especially with HMRC

I'll agree with that, should be left at our summer setting:xxgrinning--00xx3:

I've really forgotten about those summer nights when the 'dark' doesn't arrive until late.

Always did prefer darkness after 6pm

I did overtime at work today, had to phone up my workmate at 6.15 (was due in at 6)

Where are you mate? You haven't forgotten you're doing overtime with me today have you?

No not forgotten, it's only 5.15,.

Erm, no. It's 6.15.

WHAT! The clocks went back 2 hours last night, so it's 5.15, I'm just getting ready.

Erm, no. They go back 1 hour and it is 6.15 and I've been working by myself now for 15 minutes.

His excuse when he showed up was his mate told him last night the clocks go back two hours...

Never mind he's lived in England for 11 years now, so really should know better!
