He got the dates wrong in the "cut-and-thrust" of an interview and maybe over-strenuously denied the 2nd job that's political hyperbole for "Lied" if you can't trust a politician whose position SHOULD put them beyond reproach then who can you trust with the future of the country? He should be fired as of today, damage limitation, the guys a distorter of the truth so I am certain he will find another position in the city, maybe as a banker or upper-echelon police commissioner

:gp:

Run by politically correct trough feeding Labour councillors assisted by dodgy metropolitan elite Labour MP's - full of 'stani groomers and parasites living off the State. Just like all other grimy northern Labour strongholds.

The best worst political excuse ever, courtesy of Grant Shapps

To be absolutely clear I don’t have a second job and I have never had a second job whilst being an MP. End of story.

I wrote in a pen name, as many people have done in the past. The only difference is, I put my actual name and the pen name next to each other, which is why people know about it.

It’s before I came into politics many years ago.

But today it emerged, thanks to the Guardian, that in 2006 ‘Michael Green’ was selling a self-help book called Stinking Rich 3, which people were promised would make them a “ton of cash by Christmas”.

That reminds me of a book I once read by Joe Karbo called 'The Lazy Man's Way to Riches'. Have you read it Dedworth?

To be honest ...who cares ? :anerikke:

This is petty tittle-tattle when far more pressing issues need to be discussed by our politicians and (gutter) press.

Maybe that's the problem some people don't care, but then this guy is Chairman of the Board of the Conservative Party. Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP

And maybe in the old days :olddude: Rt Hon meant something and people looked up to them :NoNo:

The man had a part-time job for a while...which he had declared. Big deal.
Meanwhile some companies are permitted to dodge billions in taxes, known terrorists permitted to live amongst us, and our children placed in danger from unpunished pedos and rapists every day.

I couldn't care less about the political bickering.

Rt Hons Ian McShane, David Chaytor, Elliot Morley, Jim Devine, Eric Illsley, Chris Huhne, that Labour bitch Margaret Moran who feigned mental illness

Many of this lot of ne'er-do-wells were MPs for depressing northern Labour tips populated by lemming voters who didn't care

Sounds like a good motivational book. This country could do with making some money.

Perhaps a Labour politician should write one.
Any suggestions ?

It's a good thing they don't investigate all the copied/ faked/stolen etc goods imported through legal channels into this country from China every day of the week to re-stock our retailers' shelves.

Some targets are easier than others I suppose.

...Like that Blatter football bloke, the Qatar 'Criminal Cup' ?

This man's little book is pretty small beer.

Sadly it's a sign of the times that no matter what these people do they seem to get away with it. The Police feel an offence was committed but for some strange reason they have decided to take no action. Bit like Cyril Smith and Co who seem to have been abusing and possibly murdering children for a generation but plod and politicians deliberately covered it up.

We live in a world where people say it's alright that a member of the government runs a business in another name and attempts to use his expensive lawyers to get somebody to remove a facebook post which points this out. The man is clearly a liar, a cheat and a bully and has no place in government.

On the other hand, put a picture of Milliband in his second kitchen and the whole world is up in arms. Personally I think the most offensive thing about Milliband is that people continue to describe him as Left Wing and Socialist. The man hasn't got a socialist bone in his body.
