Wow, what weather we had on Saturday in the big city.

Walking around the back streets off Oxford Street, just in a jumper and Ems too. It was nice to feel the warmth of the sun on your face.

A grand day out it was.

We had a walk around Windsor, was nice.

Was it packed? I drove through last Wednesday or Thursday, when it was devoid of the usual crowds.

Not as packed as I remember it used to be 5 years or so ago. We ruled out paying £20 each to see inside Windsor Castle ... not a lot to see if you don't pay, but I thought the price was a bit steep, and Harlene wasn't really interested in seeing it anyway. :icon_lol:

Next time, take your passport, get the entry ticket stamped before you leave the Castle; your passport, driving licence or photographic ID is just to verify you are the person holding the ticket. Once they stamp your ticket, you can visit the Castle FREE for a whole year. :wink:
